Delete Account

You can delete your BoardSnap account and all the data attached to it. There are two ways.

In the app — immediate

1. Open BoardSnap.
2. Go to Settings (the profile icon, top right).
3. Scroll to Account.
4. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

This takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

By request — if you no longer have the app

Send an email to contact@befunnystudio.com from the address registered on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

If your account has no email address — an account created anonymously and never completed — we have no way to identify it from outside the app. In that case, clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes everything the account was attached to on your device.

⚠️ Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription

This is the mistake we most want you to avoid. Your subscription is managed by Google Play, and only Google Play can stop it. If you delete your account without cancelling, you will continue to be billed.

Cancel first: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → BoardSnap → Cancel subscription. Then delete your account.

What is deleted

• Your account and your email address.
• Your subscription record on our side, and its purchase history.
• The AI key issued to you, which is revoked immediately.
• Every document, photo and study material stored by the app on your device.

What is kept, and why

One thing survives: a one-way hash of a device identifier, with the link to your account removed.

It identifies no one — it is a salted SHA-256 hash and cannot be reversed. It exists so the 10 free welcome credits are granted once per device rather than once per account. Erasing it on deletion would turn "delete your account" into a way of claiming free credits indefinitely. Retaining it for fraud prevention is permitted under data protection law, and it holds nothing that could identify you.

Purchase records may also be retained where tax and accounting law requires it.
