What LoanExpert is

LoanExpert is a free, ad-supported calculator that simulates a loan: enter the amount, the rate and the term, and see the monthly payment, the total interest and the repayment schedule.

Estimates only — not financial advice

LoanExpert is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It applies standard amortisation formulas to the figures you type in — it does not know your lender's terms, the insurance, guarantee, arrangement or administration fees added to a real credit offer, how rates and payments are rounded, or the rules that apply where you live. The figures shown are simplified estimates: they are not a quote, an offer of credit, or financial, legal or tax advice. Only the binding offer from your bank or lender tells you what you will actually pay — always confirm with them before you commit. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for differences between an estimate and a real credit offer or any resulting loss.

What a simulation assumes

A simulation assumes the rate and the payment stay exactly as you entered them for the whole term. A variable rate, an early repayment, a deferred or missed payment, a change of insurance or any renegotiation will move the real numbers away from the estimate. Borrowing money costs money — check that you can repay before you take on a loan.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the app, attempt to break or reverse-engineer it, or use it unlawfully.
